“Great value for money villa in Seminyak”
Compared to what you pay for other villas in this area, Dyana villas is definately the best value for money. The villa is spacious with a beautiful pool and garden area with room to sunbake and move around. The styling is traditional balinese and hasa lot of charm. The kitchen and bathroom are aging a little but are still neat clean and presentable.
The beach is about a 10 min walk away, not far but still a fair way to walk in the heat. We hired a scooter from the villa and rode everywhere. The beach, restaurants and shops are all only a short 5min scooter ride away.
Our maid was lovely, however the only thing we didn't like was the need to inform what time you would like breakfast the day prior. We would rather wake up and call for breakfast when we were ready as this could change depending on what we did the night before. Breakfast was lovely, however we also didnt like how the maid would clean our villa while we ate. It felt a bit intrusive, we would rather they came back while we were out and cleaned the villa then.
Overall though it was an excellent stay and we would be back. We had villa number 12 and the noise from the nearby nightclubs was not an issue at all we could barely hear it.
(ps: if you are into sport there is the galaxy sports bar just down the road we watched the footy here).

“most pleasantly surprised”
We previously always stayed at independent villas in Bali but rising prices forced us to look at villas on shared compounds. We were anxious how this would work out however we made a great choice and are delighted with our villa. Despite misgivings about being in a villa complex the service is overwhelming superior than anything we have previously experienced. The villas are a little dated but if you appreciate the traditional design and style you will regard this as a bonus. The only word of caution i would add is that not all the villas are the same - some are superior to others.

“Paradise in Seminyak”
Our first 3 nights at Dyana Villas was shared with friends in a 3BR villa. Amazing is the word that comes to mind straightaway. Beautiful villa with huge entertaining area & large bedrooms. Our maids Agung & Lilies were fantastic, so much so we all wanted to bring them home with us. They cooked an amazing breakfast for us each morning, cleaned the villa & did our laundry. Sheer bliss!! The next 2 nights we stayed in a 1BR villa. Oh how beautiful! Our maid Ketut was an angel & we were sad to say goodbye to her. Anyone who visits Bali would find it extremely difficult to find a villa that even remotely compares to Dyana Villas for value & location. The villas, staff & security guards are all top class. We will be back for sure.

A peaceful paradise

My husband and I stayed for 6 fantastic nights in Villa 20 at Dyana Villas. Our friends stayed next door in Villa 21. Both Villas were quiet and beautifully clean. The pool was inviting as we walked thru our gate, the villa was the perfect size for a couple with a tidy kitchen,lounge and dining area, large air conditioned bedroom and stunning bathroom with open air feel.

Hera and Iluh looked after us so well...I was so sad to say goodbye to them. Breakfasts were delicious everyday... fresh papaya or other tropical juices, scrambled eggs & bacon, toast and coffee. The whole villa is cleaned quickly and efficiently and our washing was collected each day and delivered back to us a few hours later ironed and smelling divine.

The drivers connected to the villas are so helpful especially Gustdai and Made`. Their knowledge of Bali made our trip very special. Their patience waiting for us while we visited the market in Ubud, the beach in pedang pedang and Bali Safari Park was amazing. Made` even walked us around Ulawatu Temple before helping us obtain our tickets to the Fire Dance...this was outstanding service.

The staff are all fantastic and make you feel like part of their family...we miss them all already! Everyone in the complex greets you with a smile and were very polite at our attempts at Balinese words...terima kasih (thank you) and selamat pagi (good morning)

These villas are a short stroll from shops, restaurants and beach, with a great spa at the entrance to the lane. This was our first visit to Bali and we hope to return to Dyana Villas on our next visit!

Simply Outstanding - Highly Recommended

My husband and I stayed for 12 glorious nights at Dyana Villas as he was turning 50 this year and we decided to stay somewhere special. Well, we certainly got our wish but there was much more than that. We were treated like family from the moment we arrived and it was truly overwhelming. Not only did we open the door to our own private paradise complete with pool but we also had the wonderful service from our beautiful maid, Komang, as well as other maids Iluh, Made and Komang #2 (I hope I've remembered all of them?). A scrumptuous breakfast ranging from banana pancakes, fresh juice, eggs & bacon, toast and coffee was made for us in our villa every day. The first class service didn't end there - we also had our dirty laundry collected every day and delivered back to us neatly folded and smelly beautiful. We so looked forward to our morning chats with Komang and the other maids and it was so difficult to leave them when we departed on 23rd July. Then there were the highly professional office staff who welcomed us with a ready smile every time we visited reception. To the owners of Dyana Villas I think you should be so very proud of your wonderful staff who deserve a big pat on the back for their outstanding service. Great Value for Money

My husband I and family absoluteley loved staying our 12 nights in villa 23 Dyana villas. Madea 1 and Madea 2 looked after us with cooking breakfast, cleaning and washing. The rooms were large and clean. Ayu and Ayra in the office were always helpful and polite. The pool was fantastic, only thing not enough beds around the pool. My husband and I are thinking of returning next year by ourselves to stay in a 1 bedroom villa, which I was able to inspect whilst there. We would recommend these villas to all our friends. What was especially nice was the privacy we had, and there was 7 of us, and not having to share the pool with other families was great. The Dwyer family - July 2011

Dyana Villas, clean, friendly, private yet still in the muddle of everything

I've stayed here twice now within a year & this place is excellent! First I stayed with family in a three bedroom villa (villa 10) & second time with my husband in a one bedroom villa (villa 8). Both were excellent & the traditional Balinese decor is what makes this place a touch of heaven. Extremely clean with air-con in the bedroom that makes it easier to sleep. This place is in seminyak, walking distance to the main shopping & supermarket & also to the beach! However, it is a 2 min short taxi ride to Kudeta & La Lucciola or a 30 min walk). Service is excellent with a cheerful guard 24hrs at the entrance to the villas & the helpers that cook breakfast & tidy in the morning are lovely. Would highly recommend as its well worth the price!

I have stayed at Dyana Villas twice in 2008 for about 5 weeks total and am looking forward to returning with 5 friends in May this year. I was introduced to Dyana Villas (and Bali) by my partner who has stayed here extensively over several years and fell in love with the place and the people who work there.

I have normally always stayed at resorts and hotels and thought villas with a private pool and maid service would be too expensive. I was very wrong! Dyana Villas is extremely affordable for the amazing experience that you get. Let me start with the staff in reception, Raka, Ayu and WiWin! They are so friendly and accommodating to every single need, no matter what it is. We would pop in all day asking for help, laptops, taxis etc and they were always so obliging and happy to chat for ages even though they were probably busy!

Our maids (or friends as I prefer to call them now), Komang and Sarah made our stays even more enjoyable and I looked forward to them coming in in the morning for breakfast so we could chat and they could help me with my Indonesian lessons! They stay for as long or as little as you want and wash your laundry which comes back smelling amazing! (what is that??)

Your pool and garden is cleaned daily and that is where I spent most of my time, so peaceful and beautiful. The location of the villas is ideal, right in the middle of Seminyak, the coolest area. All the best restaurants are near you as well as really great clothing shops and the beach is minutes away( and no hawkers on this part).
There are a number of guards who look after your security and again they are equally as friendly and helpful as all the staff at Dyana.

The Villas are all very beautiful and sell themselves but I think it is the staff that makes your experience here memorable. The Balinese people are whats made me fall in love with the island and why I'll be going back to Dyana Villas for decades to come!
